J-Lo was spotted telling husband Ben Affleck to get close as the pair posed for photos at the premiere of her new movie The Mother on Wednesday night.
The Get Loud singer, 53, appeared to have a frown on her face and looked like she was gesturing to her husband, 50, who she married last year, as he appeared tense during a red carpet exchange at the event in Los Angeles.
According to a lip reader, although the couple seemed frustrated at times, they mostly talked about where and how to pose for photographers.
Video footage shows the actors looking tense at points, as snappers call out their names, and the pair smile and laugh as they pose on the red carpet.
An expert lip reader told FEMAIL that Jennifer appears to be asking Ben during the conversation if her low-cut top is “showing too much,” prompting him to reply that it’s fine.

Both actors then appeared to talk to the crowd of photographers, trying to determine where to stand.
During a clip of the node, the couple seem to be getting along in a friendly way, though sometimes the fraught atmosphere seems to cause some stress.
After finding a spot to pose in, Ben appeared to be telling his wife to get closer to him, before leaning into her ear and saying ‘don’t worry honey’.
His wife responds and tells him to ‘come close to me’.
Once the couple have stood for photos, Ben says “that’s done,” before kissing Jennifer and asking if everything is okay.
J-Lo responds by saying “yes” and then telling them to “step over there.”
The exchange follows another highly publicized incident where the pair appeared curt to each other.
That situation, at the Grammys in February, saw Jennifer tell Ben to pretend to have a good time.

This was backed up by a comment from an Entertainment Weekly editor who attended the event and reported that he looked happier in real life than on television.
Last night’s exchange took place during the premiere of The Mother, which stars Jennifer as the title character, an ex-hitman forced to return to the deadly business to protect her estranged daughter.
She looked flawless on the red carpet wearing a sparkly sequin-covered beige crop top paired with a matching high-waisted maxi skirt that was embellished with sequins.

Ben looked smart at the premiere in a stylish black three-piece suit. He contrasted the dark suit with a classic white shirt, though he chose to skip the tie. The Air actor and director also sported the shaggy beard he’s been rocking lately.
Last August, the couple tied the knot at their $8.9 million Georgia estate.
The pair had rekindled their romance 20 years after previously dating and breaking off their engagement. He proposed to Jennifer in April 2022 after rekindling their romance about a year earlier in May.
