Leah Williamson is back in the England squad for next month’s Euro 2025 qualifiers after having to withdraw from the last international camp following her return from a cruciate ligament injury.
The Lionesses captain returned to action in January and was called up by Sarina Wiegman for friendly matches against Austria and Italy last month.
But Williamson was forced to withdraw from that squad after suffering a hamstring injury.
The defender will get the chance to make her long-awaited return for England in the Euro 2025 qualifiers against Sweden and the Republic of Ireland.
Millie Bright, who captained the Lionesses at the World Cup during Williamson’s absence, remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Manchester United defender Maya Le Tissier is the only player to have been left out of the squad from the last England camp.
“There is no time to lose,” Wiegman said. “The February run showed who we are and where we want to go and we will look to continue that momentum from the moment we arrive at St. George’s Park next week.
‘We know it’s a challenging group, but it’s really exciting. These are all big games that will test us and that’s the kind of games we want to play in.
“Every opponent we face is a top country and we know we have to perform at our best to achieve our goals. We are ready for Sweden at Wembley.’
The Lionesses play Sweden at Wembley on April 5 before traveling to Dublin to take on the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on April 9.
