Lioness Demi Stokes holidays in Barcelona with fiancée Katie Harrington and son Harlen

Demi Stokes shared an adorable series of snaps from a family trip to Barcelona this weekend with her fiancé Katie Harrington and their son Harlen.

The 31-year-old Lioness, who was part of the England team that won the European Championship in June, welcomed Harlen via IVF with Katie in June 2022.

Demi and Katie enjoyed some much needed time away in sunny Spain, soaking up the rays as a family.

They beamed for a group selfie as the happy couple looked stunning in casual white tees and sunglasses, while little Harlen looked sweet in a green Nike camisole with a rain cap.

During their trip, the couple enjoyed watching the Barcelona women’s football team match, eating seafood paella and spending time by the harbour.

The Manchester City player wrote alongside her message: ‘BARCELONA with my favourites’

The couple welcomed their son Harlen into the world through IVF on May 6, 2022, with Demi gushing about her baby boy on her Instagram page.

Announcing Harlen’s birth, Demi wrote, “I’m so proud of you Katie, despite all the difficulties, you successfully brought our beautiful boy into this world.

“You made me the happiest and I will be forever grateful!”

Katie documented her pregnancy on her own Instagram page, posting updates on her belly as it grew.

She wrote, “Preparations for our baby’s nursery are underway and I’m feeling a lot of movement there that feels like acrobatics.”

After Harlen’s birth, Demi’s Manchester City club wrote about the defender’s venture into motherhood as the first woman to become a mother while still playing professional football for the club.

The club wrote: ‘Of course the family has been inundated with heartfelt wishes and congratulations and their wonderful news marks another pivotal moment for women’s sport as Demi has become our first first-team mother.’

Demi proposed to Katie in August 2020, in a romantic proposal in their garden with Christmas lights, confetti and silver balloons.

Katie said on Instagram, “Of course I said YES!”
