There are millions of people around the world who would love to be Lionel Messi, if only for a moment – and it seems his teammate Jordi Alba has humorously experienced that.
After what appears to be the Inter Miami Leagues Cup win against Nashville, Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo went to congratulate her husband with a hug and a kiss, only to realize it wasn’t him.
It was in fact Alba, which was realized when the couple’s heads moved towards each other. Before a hug or extra affection could ensue, she realized it was Messi’s ex-Barcelona teammate.

Alba joined the Herons last month, reuniting with Messi and fellow Catalan legend Sergio Busquets.
The left back played six games for Inter Miami and has a goal and two assists to his name.
He will be part of the away team in hopes of starting a climb from the base of the Eastern Conference standings in New Jersey on Saturday night.
It is unclear whether Messi will be in the starting line-up for what could be his MLS debut against New York Red Bulls.
Messi played 120 minutes in Inter Miami’s US Open Cup semi-final on Wednesday night against Cincinnati on penalties and then coach Tata Martino suggested he should manage the minutes the superstar plays.
Inter Miami are last (15th) in the Eastern Conference and take on the Red Bulls (11th) at 7:30pm ET.
