Entrepreneur and podcaster Patrick Bet-David has revealed that his Fort Lauderdale mansion is worth a whopping $25 million more since Lionel Messi moved in next door.

The soccer star, who signed a two-and-a-half-year contract worth $50-60 million per season, moved to Florida in the summer after signing with David Beckham's Major League Soccer franchise Inter Miami.

After spending the first few months living in a $9 million condo just seconds from “golden beach,” the World Cup winner and his wife Antonella bought a sprawling new $10.75 million estate in Fort Lauderdale in September .

The lavish home features 10 bedrooms, a spa room, two boat docks and a swimming pool.

The 10,500-square-foot property is located in the gated community of Bay Colony, one of the floating neighborhoods north of Fort Lauderdale.

One of his neighbors is Bet-David, the American entrepreneur, author and financial advisor.

And it seems the neighborhood is already reaping the benefits of Messi moving into the area, with his arrival pushing up property prices.

In conversation with VladTVhe said: “To date, given the current climate, I have already made $25 million in equity on the house I own.

'Messi just moved next door to my house. Everyone wants to be part of our community.

'It is a gated community on an island where you can only go one way: very safe, very protected. God willing, it still is.

'Now that Messi is here, everyone comes to look at the houses on their boats. We're doing well.'

Messi's beautiful home is located near the beach, just a 15-minute drive from the DRV PNK Stadium and training base in Miami.

It is located on the canals that wind through South Florida and features a pool at the water's edge.

Fortunately, teammate Sergio Busquets is not far away either; the midfielder, who followed Messi to South Florida, is said to have recently paid around $9 million for a waterfront home in Sea Ranch Lakes.

Messi – who is currently enjoying the offseason – purchased the property with the help of Team Simpkin, who have helped the MLS club's players acquire properties since its inception in 2018.

He already owned a $9 million luxury condo in Miami — and now has two other condos in Sunny Isles Beach, according to reports.

He also reportedly bought a Miami apartment in the Porsche Design Tower in 2019.

The 60-story tower is located between Bal Harbor and Aventura and 25 minutes from Inter Miami Stadium.

The building features several elevators designed exclusively for residents' cars, allowing owners to park their vehicles in their exclusive suite.

In addition to car lifts, the apartment has its own restaurant and an outdoor lounge with sea views.
