Saudi Arabian Al Hilal is looking to bring superstar Lionel Messi to the club in the summer in a deal that could see the Argentine earn £350 million a year.
Al Hilal is said to have submitted their proposal to Messi and his team of representatives as they try to lure him to Saudi Arabia in the summer.
The stunning contract would see Messi surpass the current £177 million annual salary that Cristiano Ronaldo is being paid by fellow Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Should Messi decide to accept the outrageous offer, it would be the pair’s first time since 2018 playing in the same league after Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus.
Messi could get the biggest payday of his career if he leaves PSG at the end of the season once his contract with the Paris giants comes to an end.

However, the 35-year-old is also wanted by other clubs, namely the former Barcelona, who are considering a magical return to the Camp Nou for Messi.
However, Messi could reportedly turn down the team’s huge offer from the Middle East due to interest from more competitive teams playing in Europe’s top leagues.
His apparent priority is to continue his career in Europe after winning the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar late last year, but he is in no rush to decide on his future.
Current club PSG are keen to keep Messi at the club in the summer, but there are reports that the winger is preparing to leave the French champions at the end of the season.

If they get the green light to go ahead, they could try to finalize Messi’s return quickly to fend off interest from other high-profile teams.
