Ahead of what has been a season to remember for Major League Soccer, one of the worst teams in the league from 2023 is the favorite to win the title in 2024.
According to the bookmakers, Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami team are currently the favorites to win the title.
Over the winter break, Miami added players like Luis Suarez to their offense, but also lost one of their best defensemen in Kamal Miller via a trade with the Portland Timbers.
Behind Inter Miami is Los Angeles FC, the winners of the 2022 MLS Cup and the champions of the Western Conference the previous season.
In third place are recent MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew and their rivals FC Cincinnati with odds of +1200.

The top ten is completed by three teams with equal odds of +2500: winners of the US Open Cup, the Houston Dynamo, the LA Galaxy and the New York Red Bulls.
Of the teams in the top ten, only Inter Miami and LA Galaxy failed to make last season's MLS Cup playoffs.
Of course, Miami has been in something of a transition since the middle of last season.
After sinking to the bottom of the league under Phil Neville, the team rebounded with manager Tata Martino and then even further with Lionel Messi.
Miami won the first ever edition of the Leagues Cup, but were unable to win any other silverware.
Inter Miami lost to Houston in the final of the US Open Cup and could no longer climb to a place in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
A similar situation befell LA Galaxy, but hope has been renewed since the departure of former team chairman Chris Klein, who oversaw one of the worst spells of form in the club's history.
