Lionel Messi agrees to film a behind-the-scenes documentary for Apple about his move to Inter Miami, offering “unprecedented access” as he adjusts to life in the US.
Apple has announced a new documentary series about Lionel Messi’s blockbuster move to Inter Miami, with the project offering “unprecedented access” to the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The streaming giant said the project will consist of six parts and will feature behind-the-scenes footage of his first, winning goal in Miami, moments with him and his teammates and showcasing his “immersion” in America.

Messi has lit up America since making his Miami debut against Cruz Azul last month.
Including the free-kick winner in that game, he has scored eight goals in just five games as his side have reached the semi-finals of the Leagues Cup.
That game takes place at the Philadelphia Union on Tuesday night, with tickets selling for an average of as much as $609, according to TickPick.
But Messi’s arrival is defined by the fanfare he’s also sparking off the pitch.
He set the internet ablaze when he and his family visited the Florida supermarket chain Publix to pick up groceries, with fans taking selfies with him and wondering if he’d bought one of the store’s famous “Pub subs.”
At Messi’s unveiling at the DRV PNK Stadium – an event held before he’d even played for Miami – he was welcomed by a who’s who of athletes including Tom Brady, Stephen Curry, Alex Morgan and more in a pre-recorded video .
And the stars would also appear in person for his debut.
