Lindsay Lohan’s ex Samantha Ronson sends well-wishes to the actress as she expects first child
Just hours after Lindsay Lohan revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas, one of her exes is sending her well wishes: Samantha Ronson.
Lohan, 36, took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a photo of a white newborn onesie with the words “Coming Soon,” adding in the caption, “We are blessed and excited!”
The post has received more than 840,000 likes since it went up on Tuesday, with congratulatory comments from the likes of Paris Hilton, Elizabeth Gillies, Amanda Seyfried, Bella Thorne, and many more.
Ronson, 45, the British-born DJ who dated Lohan for nearly a year in 2008 and 2009, said TMZ that he’s happy for Lohan… 14 years after their ‘toxic’ relationship ended.

After announcing the news on Instagram, Lohan told TMZ: “We’re so excited for our newest family member to arrive and we’re looking forward to the next chapter of our lives!”
Lohan and her husband Shammas were first spotted together in early 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
The financier popped the question in November 2021, and Lohan announced their engagement on Instagram.
‘My love. My life. My family. My future,’ Lohan said in the engagement post, as he tagged @bader.shammas and added the hashtag #love.
While it’s not known exactly when they tied the knot, Lohan first addressed Shammas as her husband in a July 2022 Instagram post.
‘I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and you knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace all at the same time,” Lohan said.
I’m surprised you’re my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️ every woman should feel like this every day,’ she added.
Lohan and Ronson’s relationship was subject to much media scrutiny, with Ronson opening up about the relationship in a July 2010 interview with The times.

‘I love her as a human being. I will not sit here and deny everything we had. You know, she could have countered thousands of times with facts. It’s just not for me,” Ronson said.
‘To be honest, being with her was more of a headache than anything else. Everything she was doing she was already doing (before Lindsay),” Ronson added.
‘It just meant there were paparazzi photos documenting it. It sucked, because I’m a pretty private person and I’ve managed to stay under the radar for so long,” he added.
“But at the same time, I’m not going to stop dating someone I care about for that s**t,” she clarified.
Lohan also addressed the split in a November 2012 interview with US Weekly, stating: ‘I needed to love myself first before I could be with someone. And I was going through a lot. Two toxic people cannot be together. End of story.
The actress also said: ‘We are friends now. That’s how it started, so I think that’s how it should be.’
After his split from Lohan, Ronson dated makeup artist Lauren Andersen and poet Cleo Wade.
He began dating Cassandra Gray in late 2017 and they became engaged in 2022.
Lohan returned to acting last year with the Netflix holiday movie Falling for Christmas, which debuted on the streaming service in November 2022.
She will next be seen in another Netflix movie, Irish Wish, expected later this year, starring alongside Ed Speelers and Janey Seymour.
