Lindsay Lohan wants ‘hurtful’ fire crotch joke made by Megan Thee Stallion in new Mean Girls movie to be edited out – as her dad SLAMS Tina Fey for including ‘condescending quip’
Lindsay Lohan is calling for an offensive joke made at her expense to be removed from the new Mean Girls film, an insider claims β after the actress was left ‘very hurt’ by the distasteful joke.
Lindsay, 37, expressed her dismay after Megan Thee Stallion referred to “fire crotch” in Tina Fey’s 2004 musical remake of the original – an insult hurled at the star during her days hanging out with Paris Hilton, now 42.
In an initial statement, a representative for Lindsay said she was ‘disappointed’, but now an insider close to the star has exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that she believes the line should be removed from the final version altogether.
If that wasn’t enough, Lindsay’s dad Michael also slammed Tina, 53, for the “condescending” joke as he prepared the new film.

Unaware that the musical would contain a joke at her expense, the actress attended the premiere last Monday where she was reunited with writer and costar Tina Fey.
βThe real mean girl here is Tina Fey,β the insider said. ‘She wrote it. She also knows that Lindsay is hurt by it.
‘The studio also knows how Lindsay feels about it. The right thing they could do would be to edit this out of the movie. It is completely unnecessary and very disrespectful.β
Lindsay’s father Michael confirmed that he saw the scene where the joke was made.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, he said: ‘While I would like to make a few comments about Megan The Stallion and even Tina allowing that condescending part to be in the film, I’ll take the high road and reserve them.’
He continued, βI don’t care how many times they remake Mean Girls, and how many ways it will be, it will never be like the original with Lindsay.
‘The original and Lindsay are iconic. While I’m glad Lindsay and Tina got together, I don’t understand why she didn’t make a sequel with the original cast first.
‘That would have been a huge success, surpassing any version since the original, as so many others agree.

In 2006, a video surfaced of Paris laughing as her boyfriend Brandon Davis used the term “fire cross” and hurled other insults at Lindsay.
‘A sequel to the original would beat the original cast and be better and more successful.’
Michael added: βNo one can replace Lindsay in her roles. Not because I’m her father, but because of her talent.’
In the new film, 28-year-old rapper Megan Thee Stallion shows up to praise the new popular girl Cady, played by Angourie Rice, 20 years after Lindsay’s portrayal in the original.

Fans were quick to notice the reference to oil heir Brandon Davis’ explicit 2006 rant about Lindsay, in which he and Paris mocked the actress.

In the new film, Tina returns to her role as Mrs. Norbury. Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert, who played “Plastics” Regina George, Karen Smith and Gretchen Weiners respectively in the original film, do not star.
Lindsay’s comments came hours after Tina praised the actress during an interview with CBS on Monday.
βThe original movie is actually Lindsay’s movie, you know? She just shines through,β she said.
“I thought if she was going to do something, I thought it would be nice to have her show up a little late in the movie when you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I didn’t think,’ you so forgot that you’re looking for cameos .’
She has yet to publicly respond to the news that Lindsay was “hurt” by the joke.
