Lindsay Lohan reveals why she was ‘super nervous and scared’ to meet her husband’s family
Lindsay Lohan felt ‘scared’ at the thought of meeting her now husband’s family.
The 38-year-old star is currently starring in new Christmas film Our Little Secret and she opened up about her character Avery’s nerves when meeting her boyfriend’s parents.
That’s due to her own fear before spending time with Bader Shammas – with whom she has 18-month-old son Luai – and his relatives for the first time.
But luckily they all got along well and Lindsay feels very ‘close’ to her in-laws.
She told me Great Britain HELLO! magazine: ‘It is always a potentially difficult situation. I remember being super nervous when I met my husband’s family for the first time.
“His mom is so amazing and she has all these beautiful sisters, so it was a lot.”

She added: “I was scared at first but his whole family made me feel so welcome.
“They are so sweet and we are very close now,” the Herbie Fully Loaded star also said.

And Lindsay thinks the Christmas season is even more special now that she has her son.
She said: ‘It’s certainly special that I get to spend Christmas with my son, but this has always been a special time for me.
“I’m quite sentimental when it comes to this time of year, and even more so now.”
The Parent Trap actress recently noted that she loves being able to see “life” through her son’s eyes every day, describing him as a “bundle of joy.”
