Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis took the stage on Friday to announce the title of their highly anticipated Freaky Friday sequel at the D23 Expo in California.
Lindsay, 38, looked very tall in a chic look from Balmain, consisting of a black mini skirt and white shirt.
She told the audience that the new film, titled Freakier Friday, is “more fun and more emotional and it’s all for you.”
“Seriously, the only reason we’re here to do this is because of your love. That’s why.”
Jamie Lee, 65, who opted for an elegant, bejeweled suit, added: ‘It feels like we’re picking up where we left off, and that’s really beautiful.’

The 2003 hit comedy saw the duo play the roles of a mother and daughter whose bodies are swapped by a mysterious and magical Chinese man.
While plot details for the sequel have been largely kept under wraps, Lindsay previously spilled a few juicy details.
“Well, I can’t say much about it, but I’m taking guitar lessons and I have a daughter in the movie,” she revealed during a recent appearance on Good Morning America. “It’s going to be a real Freaky Friday. Much freakier than you would expect.”
She raved about the “fantastic” experience of working with Jamie again, saying: “We’re all having so much fun. It’s so great to have that… you always want to have a good time. It’s just a lot of love, a lot of fun, a lot of laughs. It’s a great experience.”
Lindsay added, “Jamie and I have stayed in touch all these years. They always say that when you have a best friend, or someone you’re really close to, and you don’t see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you’ve never been apart. I think it’s just always so incredible that women support each other.”
Their first photos on the Walt Disney Studios set even subtly nod to the comedy’s premise: a body swap between mother and daughter.
Jamie sticks her tongue out as she throws the rock ‘n’ roll sign up in the air, while Lindsay sits up straight and smiles sweetly at the camera.
The studio caption for the photo: ‘The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! The Freaky Friday sequel is in production now!’

Last month it was announced that the film was in full swing when Walt Disney Studios shared a snapshot of the two outside their trailers
Disney also gave a first look at their live-action adaptation of the classic 1937 fairy tale Snow White during the event.
The first teaser trailer for the musical film has been released, starring Rachel Zegler, 23, as the title princess, and Gal Gadot, 39, as the iconic Evil Queen.
In the trailer for the film, directed by Marc Webb, we see occasional flashes of the CGI animation of the Seven Dwarfs. We first see their silhouettes as they walk to work in the mines, and later they dance with Snow White in their cottage.
Last summer, the film received negative attention after DailyMail.com revealed that the dwarves would be replaced by seven “magical (non-dwarf) creatures,” in a move that would keep the film in line with 21st century political correctness.
However, the film was delayed due to a major overhaul, resulting in only the animated dwarves being seen in the new trailer.
We also get a glimpse of Snow White with the male lead character Jonathan, played by Andrew Burnap, 33.

The first teaser trailer for the musical film was released on Friday, starring Rachel Zegler, 23, as the title princess, and Gal Gadot, 39, as the iconic Evil Queen.
In the original Disney animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Prince Florian was Snow White’s love interest.
The new film, however, takes a different approach, after Zegler admitted in interviews that she “hated” the original 1937 film, describing the Prince in the film as a “stalker” and calling the storyline “weird.”
The opening of the trailer offers a glimpse into the magical world of the fairy tale, as Zegler enters a cottage surrounded by a charming collection of woodland creatures.
Zegler sings ‘Whistle While You Work’ while dancing with the animated dwarves Doc, Grumpy, Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Bashful and Dopey.
Next we see her staring into a well as Gal’s Evil Queen storms off a balcony.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, also known from Guardians Of The Galaxy, promoted Avatar 3 at the fair
Lin-Manuel Miranda has written songs for the upcoming Mufasa film. He posed with director Barry Jenkins and cast Aaron Pierre, Anika Noni Rose and Kelvin Harrison Jr.
American Horror Story’s Evan Peters posed alongside director Joachim Rønning and actress Greta Lee as part of the next Tron movie promotion
Marvel also shared a teaser for the six-episode Ironheart series starring Dominique Thorne and co-starring Lyric Ross, Regan Aliyah, Anthony Ramos and Alden Ehrenreich
Later we see Gal up close as she puts on her crown.
She then asks her magic mirror to determine if she is the most beautiful woman in the world. “Magic mirror on the wall… who is the fairest of them all?” she asks.
Later in the trailer, Snow White is attacked by a moving tree in a forest.
The trailer ends with a close-up of Snow White reaching out to grab the poisoned apple.
Snow White will be in theaters from March 21.
