Linda Robson caused shockwaves on Twitter this weekend when football fans learned she has a very famous singer son.
After a video of the 66-year-old star crying at the Emirates Stadium to Arsenal’s anthem The Angel (North London Forever) was circulated around Twitter, users were stunned to learn that she is the mother of the singer and writer of the number, Louis Dunford.
The Loose Women panelist, 66, who has lived in Islington all her life, was seen crying as the song was played ahead of Arsenal’s defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Linda, who shares Louis with her ex-husband Mark Dunford, sparked massive chatter on Twitter – with many referencing her roles in EastEnders and Birds Of A Feather – as she was filmed listening to her son’s 2022 song.
The actress was married to Mark from 1990 until last year, when she announced they were splitting because they “wanted a different lifestyle.” She said in November: “We’ve had some good years, but enough is enough.”

A social media user led by Gooner Chris shared the video of Linda crying while listening to Arsenal’s anthem, The Angel (North London Forever).

Linda has spoken about Louis many times in the past. In March, she revealed that her children became her caregivers when she became “so depressed that she couldn’t be left alone.”
She overcame an alcohol addiction and struggled with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, which led to three stints in rehab.
Linda explained, “My children took care of me when I was mentally ill. There was a point where I became so depressed that I couldn’t be left alone…
‘I wasn’t allowed to see my grandchildren until I was better. It’s been four years now and they still say, ‘Mommy, I’m so glad you’re better. We never thought we’d get you back.”
She explained that her fear dates back to 2008, when Louis, now 31, had been out with boyfriend Ben Kinsella on the night Ben was stabbed and died at the scene.

Linda is also mother to two daughters Lauren, 40, and Roberta, 27, and has struggled with anxiety and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).
The Birds Of A Feather star has also spoken about her trust issues after her partner of 11 years cheated on her.
Before marrying Mark, Linda dated Tony Tyler for eleven years and they welcomed daughter Lauren in 1983.
However, their relationship was plagued with misery, and she told the Loose Women audience in 2017: ‘I caught my ex cheating several times – even when I was pregnant with Lauren…
“One time I was out and Lauren was out with me. When I returned, everything seemed fine in the flat. But when I went to bed that night, I moved the pillow and there was a tissue with lipstick on it and long blonde hair.”
