Linda Evangelista made a rare public appearance with her son Augustin James Evangelista Pinault, who supported her at the 2024 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards, held at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto last Saturday.
The 59-year-old Canadian supermodel – with 1.5 million Instagram followers – wrote that it “meant the world to me” to have family with her at the ceremony where Erdem designer Erdem Moralıoğlu presented her with the Vanguard Award.
‘[Growing up] in St. Catharines my family rarely came around the lake to Toronto. This was the big city. So tonight, to be here with my family, is incredibly special,” Linda said on stage Fashion.
‘For me, fashion has always been a place where dreams, ambitions and inspirations flourish. The great thing about fashion is that there is no right or wrong way to create it; fashion allows us to choose not only how we see ourselves, but also how we present ourselves to the world.”
Evangelista put her statuesque 6-foot figure in a silver-adorned skirt suit from, who else, Erdem and chrome pumps.
