Linda Evangelista shares glimpse into co-parenting relationship with Salma Hayek with a sweet tribute to her son’s stepmother

Linda Evangelista has paid a sweet tribute to her son’s stepmother, Salma Hayek, for going out of her way to help her when she was sick.

Linda, who dated billionaire François-Henri Pinault for a few months in 2005 and 2006, shares son Augustin, 16, with her ex.

Salma, 56, married François-Henri, 61, in 2009 and together they share a daughter named Valentina, 15, while she is also stepmother to Augustin.

Linda, 58, told Vogue that she spends most holidays with Salma and her ex-boyfriend as a family, but there was one time when she had to back out of the festivities, which prompted Salma to swoop in.

She said, “I was sick over Thanksgiving and Salma got on a plane with her daughter, came over here and made Thanksgiving dinner.

“I wanted her Mexican chicken with truffle potatoes. And she spent the day in the kitchen cooking it herself. No help.

“The kids eventually helped her. She made a feast – a beautiful, beautiful meal. I told her I wouldn’t have Thanksgiving; I did not feel well. And she said, “Oh yes, you are: I’m coming.” And poof, she was here.’
