Linda Evangelista and Kaia Gerber were effortlessly stylish as they led the stars at the Steven Meisel X Zara cocktail event in New York on Friday during New York Fashion Week.
The supermodel icon, 58, and the 22-year-old beauty helped celebrate the photographer’s latest collaboration with Zara and the special collection he created for the fashion retailer.
Both Gerber and Evangelista — who recently revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 — also appeared in the campaign for the new line alongside other stars such as Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk.
At the event, the mother-of-one looked effortlessly chic in a black satin dress with a silver chain belt wrapped around her waist.
She added a black blazer on top which she left untucked and threw on a pair of black boots for an edgy flair.

Linda chose not to add any statement jewelry, so that her outfit is the centerpiece of the evening.
Her makeup was done classically and consisted of a coat of mascara on her lashes and a bold, smoky shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush was added to enhance her cheekbones, while a darker nude glossy shade was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Cindy Crawford’s daughter also put on a fashionable display, showing off her toned midriff in a black cropped top and loose-fitting black pants.
She paired the outfit with an oversized black blazer and paused for a memorable photo with Linda, who in the past has mostly walked the runway with her mother.
Kaia’s brunette locks were parted in the middle and flowed effortlessly down her shoulders. Like Evangelista, the actress opted not to add any jewelry to her ensemble.
The couple attended the cocktail event celebrating photographer, Steven Meisel New York’s latest collection, which will soon be available at fast-fashion retailer: Zara.
According to W magazinethe line will contain approximately 50 pieces with a price range between $28 and $439.

The collection was inspired by Meisel’s own personal sense of style, as well as his passion for different eras and his work in the industry over the decades.
The pieces – which also range from jeans to leather items and faux fur – will be available from September 18. However, there will be a pop-up store in NYC from September 9 to 13, and also in London from September 15 to 17. per socket.
Linda starred in the latest Meisel X Zara campaign and has notably worked with the photographer since the late 80s.
Their new book, Linda Evangelista Photographed By Steven Meisel, will be officially available later this month, on September 13. The images in the book cover the period from their first collaboration in 1987 to 2011.
Other stars were also present at the cocktail event on Friday, such as Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel.
The blonde beauty, who recently wowed at the Victoria’s Secret World Tour 2023 event, was spotted in leather pants and a graphic short-sleeved T-shirt.
She donned a pair of black boots to complete her stylish casual look. Her locks were parted in the middle and flowed down her shoulders in light waves.
Joan Smalls showed off her edgy side in black leather shorts and wore a sheer black lace corset top for a sultry flair.
