But that doesn’t mean the drama with her on-again, off-again relationship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) is over.
The trailer opens with Emily in Gabriel’s arms on a romantic getaway in the mountains, before his girlfriend Camille (Camille Razat) enters the picture.
“You will always choose her!” Emily begs Gabriel as Camille watches from a stone’s throw away.
“She’s going to give birth to my baby!” he replies.
“I know! But I can’t be the one to pull you away from your family,” Emily insists as a close-up of Camille appears.
Camille hasn’t told Gabriel yet that she’s not pregnant after finding out her test result was a false positive.
Interestingly enough, we next see Gabriel hanging out with another new woman: Emily’s new American colleague Genevieve.
As Emily and her friend Mindy Chen (Ashley Park) walk past Gabriel’s restaurant, they see him chatting with Genevieve in the restaurant late at night.
“Are we sure we like her?” Mindy asks after this confusing observation.
Meanwhile, Emily is sent to Rome to seduce a new business partner, a handsome Italian man named Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).
“JVMA is eager to take them over,” Emily’s colleague tells their boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).
“I would like to meet Marcello,” Sylvie informs Emily.
“I’m not going to Rome!” protests Emily.
The fourth season of Emily In Paris came to a dramatic end on Thursday, when our title heroine made a surprise move from her beloved French city to Rome

“It’s not the first time you’ve mixed business with pleasure. And you’re actually quite good at it,” Sylvie tells her.
Emily eventually travels to Rome and meets Marcello, who takes her to see the sights of the city.
The trip offers the marketing manager a break from her busy life in the city.
“A break from work, Paris, everything,” she answers wistfully.
During her journey, Emily enjoys the finer things in life, from good food to good company.
As she enters the club with Marcello, they dance together in a steamy manner.
“Which city do you prefer? Paris or Rome?” Marcello asks her.
Next, we see Emily open the windows of her palatial Roman abode and smile in awe as she takes in the priceless view.
The second part of Emily In Paris was released on Netflix on September 12.
