Lily Allen dazzles in floral slip dress to celebrate her 38th birthday at a posh London lunch with friends…but regrets being away from New York-based husband David Harbor and her kids
Lily Allen celebrated her 38th birthday with friends in London on Saturday afternoon.
The star appeared to be having a fantastic lunch at Hammersmith’s The River Cafe, where she had a special lunch tailor-made for her and was joined by friends including Miquita Oliver while wearing a gorgeous floral dress.
Despite her fun lunch, the star, whose birthday isn’t until Tuesday, later complained that she was away from her husband David Harbour, 48, and her children Ethel Cooper, 11, and Marnie Rose, 10.
She took to Instagram on Monday morning and shared a video of the Stranger Things actor singing the song Part Of This World from The Little Mermaid, while Marnie walked around in a blanket shaped like a mermaid tail.
His hilarious rendition was littered with forgotten words and silly giggles, leading to Lily’s penning, “Halle Bailey is shook,” a nod to the actress, 23, who plays Ariel in the live-action remake, due out later. this month.

Her video tribute to her family came after she shared snaps from her birthday in which she looked fabulous in her slinky floral dress.
She later added a blazer to the look, while also showing off her choppy blonde bob, complete with sharp bangs and a cropped, ear-length haircut.
Lily shares the girls with ex-husband Sam Cooper, whom she married in 2011 before splitting four years later. She married David in an idyllic Vega ceremony in 2020, with only her daughters in attendance.

It comes after Lily claimed she often forgets to eat — and struggles to eat meals that aren’t “ordered and made for me.”
The star said she loves to eat, but her stomach can “travel long distances without eating” when she’s distracted looking after her two daughters Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10.

She also revealed that she is not a big fan of fast food as she has an “anti-capitalist way of thinking about food.”
Her comments come months after she hit back at online trolls who thinly shamed her after a 2021 TV appearance. I’m actually really bad… I’m not really hungry,” she told the Off Menu podcast. “When I see food, I’m like ‘oh yes, I should eat’.”
“I think my stomach actually travels quite long distances without eating, then it has a little bit and it goes ‘yeah.’ I love food. I love food, but I’m just not very good at remembering things to do. I get up and I babysit and I just forget.”
