Lily Allen shared gushing tribute to her husband David Harbour just weeks before she unfollowed him on social media amid claims they are ‘living separate lives’

Lily Allen shared a gushing tribute to her husband David Harbour, just weeks before it was claimed they are now ‘living separate lives’.

The singer, 38, posted a heartfelt message as she celebrated her third wedding anniversary with the Stranger Things actor, 48, in September.

Lily shared a photo of the couple taken on their wedding day and wrote a humorous post about how marrying David was one of the best decisions she’d ever made.

The Smile hitmaker wrote: ‘3 years with this man, the second best decision I’ve ever made. The first was that dress.”

However, it seems like things have taken a turn for the worse since then as Lily now unfollows her husband on Instagram.

A week for the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary, with Lily sharing a photo from their wedding day on Instagram with the caption: ‘3 years with this man, the second best decision I’ve ever made. The first was that dress.”

It has now been revealed that the couple have ‘barely seen each other’ for the past three months.

A source said The sun: ‘Lily and David have hardly been together for the past three months and are living separate lives.’

They added: ‘While in London for the Pillowman, David was spotted performing before Lily was left alone in July.

‘In her spare time, Lily spent time with friends in London or with her children. When she returned to the US with them, there was no sign of David.”

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Lily Allen and David Harbor for comment.

Earlier this week, Lily confused fans after she unfollowed her husband David on Instagram.

The sudden criticism on social media prompted fans to take to “Lily Allen and David Harbor wouldn’t do that to me, THEY WOULD NOT do THAT.”

David still follows Lily on Instagram, so the sudden unfollowing of the Smile hitmaker could be accidental.

The censure comes a month after they celebrated their third wedding anniversary on September 7.

The British singer-songwriter shared a photo of the couple decked out in their wedding outfits, moments after making their union legal at the famed Graceland Wedding Chapel in 2020.

Lily absolutely glowed in a white ’60s-inspired Dior dress with a matching bridal veil that fell down her back in two tiers and black suede heels.

The low-key ceremony was led by Elvis Presley impersonator and chapel co-owner Brendan Paul.

The couple were first linked in January 2019 when they attended the BAFTA Tea Party together.

In November of the same year, the Somewhere Only We Know star was photographed wearing an engagement ring.

Since tying the knot in September 2020, during the first wave of COVID-19, Harbor has taken on the role of stepfather to Allen’s two daughters: Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10.

“I’m in a relationship with three women who all have very different opinions about me at different times,” the actor joked at the time

He then took a more serious tone when discussing how “making a commitment like that” to the girls “was a huge thing for me.”

The Stranger Things star added, “And honestly, it just makes you feel a little bit more like a man. I just feel a little more grown up.”

Lily has previously credited the Covid pandemic with helping her relationship with David.

Speaking on Alan Carr’s lockdown podcast, she confessed: ‘The pandemic has completely changed the course of my life.’

The couple, who married in Las Vegas in September 2020, had only been dating for about six months when the pandemic hit.

Lily explained, “When the pandemic happened to me and my now husband, I was actually in quite the early stages of our relationship, and that was only because he was living in New York and you know they were starting to shut down.

‘We were together for about six months, but we were definitely not at the ‘Let’s move in together’ stage.

“Obviously I had kids, but because of the pandemic I thought, ‘He can’t be sitting alone in an apartment for that long, I mean, how long is this going to last?’

The actor lived in New York, Lily offered him to move in with her and her two children on a trial basis.

“I told him, ‘Get on a plane, come over here,’ and I said to the kids, ‘This is Mommy’s boyfriend and he has no one to stay with, so we’re letting him stay with us,’ and we spent over six months lived together.

‘If we hadn’t had those six months to test what it would be like to live together as a family, we would never have had the chance to try that out and I would never have taken the risk of moving.’

“Thank God for Covid,” Alan joked as Lily quipped. “Yes, sorry for all the people who died, but my life has improved immeasurably!”

Lily shares Ethel and Marnie with her first husband Sam Cooper, to whom she was married from 2011 to 2018.
