Lily Allen says first husband, builder Sam Cooper, ‘had no money’ as she responds to trolls as she celebrates wedding anniversary with David Harbor
Lily Allen hit back at online trolls on Thursday, who asked her if she would marry a man who had “no money.”
The singer, 38, shared a sweet post to celebrate her third wedding anniversary with husband David Harbor when she was met with the cruel comment.
Lily, who has been married twice, is said to have a net worth of £3.2 million while David has brought in £4.8 million from his successful acting career.
The hitmaker shared a post on Instagram, uploading a photo of the happy couple just after their wedding at the famous Graceland Wedding Chapel in 2020.
“Three years with this man, the second best decision I ever made. The first was that dress,” she wrote.

Lily was seen in a white 1960s-inspired Dior dress with a matching wedding veil that fell to her back in two layers and black suede heels.
However, one follower wondered, “Would you have married a man with no money?”
To which Lily replied, “Sure. I did that in 2011, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.’
The actress married builder Sam Cooper, 45, in 2011 at St. James Church in Gloucestershire, after two years of dating.
However, their seven-year marriage ended in 2018, with the singer later admitting to cheating on her husband.
She shares daughters Ethel, nine, and Marnie, seven, with Sam. In 2021, he married his aristocratic designer partner India Windsor-Clive.
His new wife, daughter of the Earl of Plymouth, is a descendant of the 18th century Clive of India, a controversial military officer and East India Trading Company official.
India and Sam, who apparently first got together a month after he officially finalized his divorce from Lily, got engaged in January 2021, with the builder announcing the news on social media while calling himself “an extremely lucky man.”

Lily previously admitted to cheating on Sam after the struggle with fame led her to lose her identity.
In her all-encompassing book, My Thoughts Exactly, she explained how a confrontation with Sam nearly resulted in her being split up.
However, in a June 2018 interview on Loose Women, the Smile singer said she shares a “very amicable” relationship with Sam, and that the pair have an unconventional custody arrangement, taking their daughters alternately for weeks.
“Me and my ex-husband share custody, one week on and one week off, which is handy for my job. If he has them, I can,” she added.
