She wore a number of chic outfits during the trip, including a khaki green sheer chiffon dress and a blue and white striped mini dress.
“July on film,” Lily captioned the footage.
However, her journey ended in frustration when she was faced with the aftermath of the Microsoft technology crisis, which caused chaos in the travel industry.
In a since-deleted social media post, the singer took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to vent her frustration at the situation that has left her “stuck at Heathrow” with no “resolution”.
She joked: ‘@British_Airways you guys totally mismanaged the queues and we missed our flight home. Now I’m stuck in Heathrow with two kids and we have no way to get on another flight.’
British Airways promptly responded with: ‘Hi Lily. We’re really sorry to hear this. We understand how frustrating this must be. We’ve replied to your message on Instagram. If you don’t mind reaching out to us there, we can look into this for you.’
Lily’s troubles began at the end of her glamorous holiday in Tuscany, where she enjoyed the Italian sun.

The Smile filmmaker seemed to be making the most of her trip, as she spent time at Villa Cetinale, a 17th-century villa with a world-famous garden.
In one photo, Lily shows off her beautifully tanned figure, wearing a black swimsuit as she relaxes on a chair.
Other snaps see the star enjoying an evening out at a restaurant, posing for a selfie with a friend and later grinning as she lies stretched out on a lounge chair.
It also follows on from the pop star-turned-actress’ latest venture: an OnlyFans account where you can sell photos of her feet for just £8 a month.
Lily has created her own account on the social media platform, which is mainly used by people looking to sell their own adult content, under the title ‘Lily Allen FTSE500’.
The singer, who is married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, spoke about her new project on her BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me?, and recounted her first few weeks as a foot content seller.
The actress revealed, “I’ve been doing foot content this past week. My toe daddies are really happy with the content that I’m doing. It’s just feet.”

One of the photos was labeled “sole proprietorship” and under another she wrote, “I just bought them at the airport. I’ll pick them up later.”
Another photo is captioned “summer pedicure,” while another photo simply says, “Morning.”
Lily, mother of daughters Ethel (12) and Marnie (11) from her marriage to Sam Cooper, also said her husband David thinks her new business venture is “amazing”.
She said, He loves it. At first he wasn’t that excited, but he said, ‘Is this a kink for you?’ she said.
‘And I thought, “No, it’s definitely not kink.” But maybe there’s something about the power element of it that’s a little bit kinky for me.’ She added, ‘I’m having my day in the sun.’
