Lily Allen details ‘trauma’ of losing her virginity when she was ‘aged about 12’ and says her father Keith Allen called the police when he found out

Lily Allen has revealed she lost her virginity when she was 12 and said her father Keith Allen called the police when he found out.

The mother-of-two singer, 38, who has been married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 48, since 2020, was on holiday with her father, 69, and younger brother Alfie, now 36, when it happened.

She told Alan Carr, 47, about his Life’s A Beach podcast about how her father thought she was missing at the time.

Lily said, “I’m actually missing. I lost my virginity to a man named Fernando in Brazil. When I was about 12, no, I’m kidding. Never spoke to him again.

“They thought I was really missing. I went to his hotel room, and I was on vacation with my father and brother, and of course I didn’t come back to my room’.

Lily added that she “slept in the next day,” saying, “I woke up and there were police all over the hotel.

She said, “They were literally combing the beach and wearing T-shirts (asking, ‘Is this what she was wearing?’) I didn’t have the heart to say, ‘No, I was just checking my virginity to lose”.’

“It was all a bit traumatic and I didn’t have sex for a while.”

Sex with a child 12 years old or younger is called “statutory rape.” This means that children of this age can never consent and so sex is always a crime. It is unknown how old the man was.

There was even more trauma for Lily as she said in 2018 that she had sex with her father’s famous boyfriend when she was 14.

She described the incident in her autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly, accusing her father of turning the ordeal into a “joke.”

Lily wrote that she was sent to a hotel to return the unnamed male celebrity’s football kit after he played in a charity match.

She met him at the hotel bar and he bought her drinks before taking her to a room and having sex with her.

Lily wrote, “I was 14. He was 19, but to me he seemed like someone from a different generation. Afterwards I had a strange feeling about it. I knew what had happened wasn’t right.’

She admitted she was too scared to tell her father what had happened, but when he eventually found out, she claimed he was taking the situation lightly.

Lily, who had already lost her virginity at the time of this incident, claimed, “My dad messed things up with his friends. They devised elaborate plans to blackmail the man and rehearsed how they would call and prank him.

“All I know is that my father turned having sex with a man I hardly knew into a joke between him and his mates. That didn’t give me a good feeling.’

Lily is now happily married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, whom she married in a Las Vegas wedding in 2020 attended by her two daughters Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10, who she had with ex-husband Sam Cooper , 45.

She and Sam married in 2011 before divorcing in 2018.

Meanwhile, Lily has been open for years about her tempestuous relationship with her father, from whom she is currently believed to be estranged.

They have occasionally feuded since Lily called Keith a “self-saboteur” and made an attempt to rebuke his career in her memoir.

Keith later told The Guardian of her criticism: “That’s true, yes. I couldn’t channel anything. You could say I wasted many years. You could also say that I had a great time.

“I was busy with a lot of things in the beginning. I hosted one of the first “yoof TV” shows. I was one of the first artists in the Comedy Store.’
