Lily Allen has claimed she is too busy to have a facelift after admitting she went for a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon in New York.
The Smile singer, 39, revealed that she had been offered as much as $150,000 (about 120,000 euros) by various plastic surgeons to go under the knife.
In her podcast Miss Me? Lily said she couldn’t have the facelift because of her commitment to her career and podcast.
She would have to take at least three weeks off to recover, a luxury she said she could not afford.
Lily said, “I live in New York City and may or may not have consulted with a few plastic surgeons and said I might be thinking about a facelift. Want to know how much they quoted? $150,000.”

Lily, who returns to Britain this summer for a role in the highbrow play Hedda in Bath, added: ‘Now that we have a weekly podcast I can’t actually do that because it would take me three weeks to recover .
“Unless I sit here with a bandaged face and sunglasses on.”
Her admission comes just weeks after she took a subtle swipe at 42-year-old Beyoncé, claiming the icon is “getting some help” to maintain her youthful looks.
Lily discussed the singer’s new country album with Miquita Oliver about her podcast with BBC Sounds.
And while Miquita admired Beyoncé’s age-old beauty, Lily suggested she had work done.
Miquita said: ‘She looks great, she makes turning 40 exciting.’
Lily added, “Yes, but she’s getting help.”

Miquita fumes: “She hasn’t had any work done yet, if that’s what you mean!”
Lily said: ‘I didn’t say that, but she has great stylish people, great hair people, she works out, has access to the best personal trainers in the world… she’s Beyoncé.’
While making the indirect comment, Lily also claimed that Beyoncé was being very “calculated” about her new album and the advertising surrounding it.
Lily, who is currently sobering up her first album, said from her hotel room in Nashville: “It’s quite an interesting thing to do when you’re trying to tackle a new genre and you pick the biggest song. that genre. I mean, you do Beyoncé.”
She added: “I think it’s quite calculated. I feel like when Jay-Z stood up at the Grammys, that was part of this campaign. She wore the blonde wig, a cowboy hat and he put on the wig.
“It was about challenging the institution and now she’s the most played woman in country music.

“I’m here because I love country music and always have. I’m not saying Beyoncé doesn’t do that, but I tell stories in my music and that’s what country music is.”
Lily also admitted that she finds people attractive if they have a lot of ‘power’ rather than ‘looks’.
Miquita asked: ‘Do you find Jay-Z attractive?’
Lily said, “I mean, I’m attracted to power, so yeah, but not physically. But to be honest, I don’t really like people physically.’
