Lilli Pilli: Mystery after man’s body is found in thick bushland as cops establish crime scene

A man’s body has been discovered in bushland by a member of the public.
Emergency services were called to George Bass Dr around 10:30am on Wednesday. in Lilli Pilli, 10 km southeast of Batemans Bay on the south coast of New South Wales.
The body was reportedly found among bushes.
NSW Police have established a crime scene and officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
It is understood officers are considering whether the body was burned before being dumped in bushland.

The news comes just one day after a mother drowned at Pebbly Beach, 29km northeast of Batemans Bay, after trying to save her daughter.
