Tottenham are reportedly considering Lille striker Jonathan David as a possible replacement for Harry Kane.
Kane is the subject of strong interest from Bayern Munich, who have already rejected a £70 million bid, and his north London contract has entered its final year.
Unsurprisingly, chairman Daniel Levy is desperate to keep Kane at the club, but Spurs are still exploring options should he leave.
Journalist Rudy Galletti claims David has emerged as an option for the London club.
The striker, who scored 58 times in 136 appearances for Lille, still has a two-year contract.

Lille values the player at around £50 million and would be willing to raise money if such an offer were received.
Galetti adds that Dusan Vlahovic remains a target for Spurs, but PSG are leading the race for the Juve star with personal terms already agreed.
Vlahovic appears to be available for sale at this time, although Juventus have previously insisted on setting aside £77 million for the talented 23-year-old.
The frontman scored 14 goals in all competitions last season and is coveted by Chelsea and PSG, both of whom are believed to be in a trade-off.

Mail Sport previously reported that Juventus were willing to let Vlahovic move to Stamford Bridge for just £21 million if Romelu Lukaku were included in a swap deal.
Ultimately, the Serie A giants are pushing for a sale, not a possible move.
Vlahovic, who played 27 Serie A matches for Juventus last year and scored 10 goals, is currently under contract in Turin until 2026.
