Lili not only starred in the movie, but is also one of the producers on the project. She opened up on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon about taking on such a role.

‘I love to be in control of things…it’s better to have the executive producer title, otherwise, you’re just like, a bossy actor,’ she stated humorously.
She also explained why she was excited to be a part of the film. ‘I think what I loved the most about the movie and when I read the script was that there was no wrong path.’
The Netflix film’s official IMDB synopsis states, ‘On the eve of her college graduation, Natalie’s life diverges into parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and remains in her hometown to raise her child and another in which she moves to LA to pursue her dream career.’

Lili also recently stopped by the Today show to promote the Netflix movie, and explained what initially interested her to be a part of the project.
‘I read the script over two and a half years ago and I honestly thought it was so heartwarming,’ she stated.
The film also stars Danny Ramirez, Aisha Dee, Luke Wilson, David Corenswet, and Nia Long. Wanuri Kahiu directed the Netflix feature.
Lili appears to have a passion for working behind the camera, and has her own production company called Small Victory Productions.
Now that Riverdale has officially reached its final season, the actress expressed that she is excited for her future during the talk show. ‘I have my own production company, so I’m going to be starring in the things that I’ve been working on and developing the last couple of years.’
