Lila Moss shared a sweet tribute to mom Kate Moss on Thursday as she celebrated her 51st birthday with a gallery of iconic throwback snaps on Instagram.

Model Lila, 22, said the supermodel is her “best friend forever” as she shared a number of photos on her Stories.

In one fell swoop, Kate looked glamorous in a satin dress which she wore with a long blue velvet scarf as she held the hand of a young Lila, who looked quite grumpy, wrapped in a fur coat.

Lila wrote: ‘Congratulations mom! My best friend forever. Thank you for putting up with my mood and letting me steal all your clothes.”

In another photo, the catwalk star was seen walking down the street with young Lila, wearing a striking blue T-shirt with the words ‘I heart Kate Moss’ printed on the front.

Lila wrote: ‘I need this T-shirt today’.

In a third photo, which Lila revealed she captured last week, Kate was seen in a stunning satin maxi dress as she ran along the beach during a lavish holiday.

She added, “Happy birthday to my best friend! Always happy together, [camera emoji] last week by me’.

Meanwhile, Kate’s look-alike brother Nick also took to social media to celebrate his ‘amazing big sisters’ special day, posting a selfie of the pair.

He wrote, “Happy birthday to my amazing big sister,” followed by three red heart emojis
