‘Lights out and away we go!’ Shocking moment boozed up British Formula 1 goers cause chaos at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in mass brawl that saw spectators bottled with prosecco

A Grand Prix party in Abu Dhabi descended into chaos last weekend when a mass brawl broke out with drunken guests throwing bottles at each other.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen used to be crowned Formula 1 world champion in a record year for the Dutchman, with his 19th win of the season.

But the fans’ celebration over the weekend appeared to get out of hand, with security having to intervene as partygoers became involved in a dramatic fight at the Yas Marina Circuit – the $1.3 billion track where the race took place.

Shocking footage appears to show revelers enjoying themselves at an exclusive event hosted on a balcony overlooking the track, which was decorated with Red Bull-branded parasols.

The showdown saw groups of F1 fans, some of whom are believed to be British, assaulting each other with alcohol bottles and climbing over furniture to take punches at each other.

With multiple videos showing chaotic scenes at what appears to be a race after-party, it is unclear if multiple small fights broke out or if they were related.

At the beginning of a clip of the incident, a woman is seen shouting at a group of men who were trying to get past her, separated only by a member of the security staff.

Another woman puts her arm around a man’s neck as she desperately tries to pull him back and prevent him from getting involved.

Those present watch in shock and bewilderment as the seemingly endless battle continues, with more and more people joining in.

One reveler, wearing a red T-shirt, is seen clambering over the white benches to take on another before being pulled back. A man in a white T-shirt then comes back to beat him.

As the violence escalates, a few men start using bottles of beer and wine as weapons.

One throws what appears to be a champagne or prosecco bottle straight at another man, while others run around and also dangerously brandish large bottles.

While security tries to stop some men, red VIP cordons are knocked to the ground.

The few personnel who try to prevent the fighting from worsening quickly become a minority.

The DJ can be heard telling the gathered crowd ‘let’s go’ as he performed for the race weekend, before suddenly realizing that things have gone sour.

He begins to sound increasingly concerned as the aggression increases and he urges security to sit down and address the wild behavior.

While what seemed to start as a disagreement turned into violence, Kanye West’s song ‘All of the Lights’ plays in the background.

The song was appropriate because the controversial rapper was among the many stars attending the Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 46-year-old went to watch the Formula 1 race unfold after sparking backlash following the release of his new single Vultures.

The hitmaker had been criticized for partying on the song with collaborator Ty Dolla $ign, Chris BrownBump J and others at a party Dubai.

In the video, the group can be seen saying the controversial phrase “How am I anti-Semitic?” I just f****da Jewish b***h,” came loudly over the speakers.

Despite the recent controversy surrounding the new song, Kanye was in good spirits as he was pictured at the race.

A range of other stars, including Naomi Campbell and Priyanka Chopra, also attended the highly anticipated race.

Red Bull has been contacted for comment.
