A teacher is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old boy who had been missing for months.
Robyn Rogers, 44, was arrested Thursday for the alleged offense after officers confronted her at a home on Beefeater Drive in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
It was believed she was hiding the juvenile male, who ran away from home on February 14. He was seen leaving the rear of the residence as officers spoke with Rogers, leading them on a short foot chase before he was arrested.
Officers later said the minor had a sexual relationship with Rogers and that she helped him evade police.
She was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, as well as hindering prosecution, making false reports to police, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During her initial appearances, Rogers was being held on $25,000 cash bail for the three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, and $5,000 bail for the remaining charges. In her arrest photos, the mother of two wore a pair of pigtails.
