In a viral video that has been viewed more than 7.2 million times to date, he shared the five signs you're dealing with a narcissist – starting with realizing someone is playing the victim.
He captioned the clip: 'How to spot a narcissist in an argument. My five signs might be narcissistic.”
“I've been coaching people in life for 20 years and I've seen my fair share of narcissistic behavior,” Mark said before addressing the signs.
The first sign that you are dealing with a selfish person is that he/she is always “playing the victim.”
The life coach explained that narcissists never believe that they are the “cause of anything.”
“They are always the victims and will always play the victim card,” he added.
Taking the next step, Mark said that narcissists refuse to take responsibility for their actions and will 'deny' that they are to blame.
“Number two: denial. They will always deny anything and everything that suggests it is the cause, they will never take responsibility, but instead they will deny,” he noted.

“Number three: deflection. They will turn away from themselves and suddenly you will find that the conversation is about you and not about them,” he explained.

Mark said: 'They'll trick you, they'll make you doubt how you perceive the situation, they'll say things like, “Oh, it wasn't like that,” or, “Oh, I didn't mean it that way.” ”
“They will make you question what you thought happened and how you remember what happened.”
Finally, narcissists will become aggressive if they don't get what they want.
'If all four other options have failed, they will attack and become aggressive. This is to intimidate you and make you withdraw,” he said.
