Lies from P update 1.2.0.0 has made the game a lot easier by adding a number of balance changes.
The update is now live on PC and console, and if the patch notes In detail, it’s mainly about balancing fixes for numerous boss fights, along with system tweaks to reset character progression, making it easier to respect.
Certain field monsters have had their health reduced and there is now a greater chance for the player to break their stance with a larger, staggered window.
In terms of the boss battles, Fallen Archbishop Andreus, King of Puppets and Simon Manus, Arm of God have had their health reduced. However, for King of Puppets this only applies in the first phase of the battle.
Along with lower HP for Simon Manus, Awakened God, the developer has also reduced his damage and made it easier for the player to break his stance.
There are also some adjustments to the pay drop. The update increases the drop rate of Moonstone-like items from monsters, along with Ergo items from certain monsters that appear after Lorenzini Arcade, but the drop rate of Star Fragments has been reduced. Boss Monster Balance Changes
System changes related to resetting character progression
- Added the function to reset the character’s level, P-Organ and Legion Arms at the ‘Gold Coin Tree’
- Characters created after this patch will now receive 8 Gold Coin Fruits instead of 5 for their first harvest
- Adjusted the number of gold coins required to reset the character’s level, P Organ, and Legion Arms
Additional changes
- Players can now gain more weight for each point they spend on capacity
- The weight of amulets that can be purchased from Boss Ergo has been reduced
- Players can now perform better attacks when using fable arts that take up three or more slots. (including Fable Arts that stack)
- Successfully performing the Fablecraft ‘Guard Parry’ will now break the monster’s posture
New functions
Now supports the DUALSHOCK®4 and DualSense™ controllers on Windows OS devices
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where the Legion Arm ‘Pandemonium II – Acid Charge’ rarely worked properly.
- Fixed a bug where the Legion Arm ‘Pandemonium’ would only consume Legion guage while using Grindstones
- Fixed a bug that caused Geppetto’s face to flicker in the cutscene after defeating the ‘Nameless Puppet’ with Graphics Quality Presets – Low
- Fixed a typo by Carlo Collodi in the credits. (Our apologies to Mr Collodi and that was not a lie!)
