Lidcombe samurai sword stabbing: Man rushed to hospital

A man has been rushed to hospital after reportedly being stabbed multiple times with a samurai sword.
Emergency services were called to Ann Street, Lidcombe, at around 12pm on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.
A man, 26, was reportedly attacked by another man wielding the sword.
He suffered multiple stab wounds to his arms and legs.

Paramedics treated the man before taking him to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The police arrested a 25-year-old man at the scene of the incident.
A crime scene has been cordoned off while officers investigate.
The two men are not known to each other.
