A drug lab in an unsuspecting unit has been vandalized as police launch a search for the people behind the trap.
New South Wales Police executed a search warrant at a unit on Uhrig Road in Lidcome, western Sydney, at around 7pm on Thursday.
They had received a notice before discovering two glass pots that were filled with a liquid police believe to be methylamphetamine.

A double-barreled shotgun, shotgun shells, and a BB gun were also found in a storage unit assigned to the unit shortly thereafter.
Police have yet to make an arrest and will send all seized items for forensic examination.
The unit was registered by the NSW Police Raptor Squad, a group formed in 2009 primarily concerned with curbing outlaw motorcycle gangs and associated criminal enterprises.
Upon finding the specialist in kitchen utensils, police officers from the Chemical Operations Unit of the Drugs and Firearms Squad were called to help in the operation.
“Further items were located and seized, including drug paraphernalia and items consistent with the manufacture of methylamphetamine,” New South Wales Police said.
Police urge anyone with information to contact the police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police went to the unit around 7 pm on Thursday, December 5 and found a shotgun (pictured), ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and drug manufacturing precursors.
It comes a week after police cracked down on a drug gang allegedly supplying methylamphetamine, heroin and the GHB precursor gamma-butyrolactone to south and south-west Sydney.
On December 29, a 31-year-old suspected drug gang leader was arrested outside the Markets Hotel in Homebush West.
He was charged with six counts of commercial drug supply, directing the activities of a criminal group, and six other related counts.
His arrest along with a 39-year-old Kingsgrove man capped a string of seven other arrests by police in connection with alleged gang operations.
