Liberal media stunned by voter responses despite their ‘propaganda’ effort to back Kamala

Journalists from left-leaning news organizations appear bewildered after voters expressed their preference for Trump over Kamala Harris in a series of street interviews.

A viral clip on X shows host Don Lemon interviewing strangers in Atlantic City, New Jersey, many of whom agree they feel more financially stable under a Trump presidency.

And in one cringe-worthy exchange, a voter laughs in Lemon’s face after the journalist tries to argue with his personal experience. In another instance, he sensationally asks a male interviewee if his opposition to Harris is because “she’s a woman.”

A second clip from left-oriented ABC News shows a woman who considered voting for Trump because Harris “just got caught up in a bunch of lies.”

It comes after it emerged the Democratic presidential candidate’s ‘honeymoon’ period with the liberal media appeared to be coming to an end after her ‘communist’ plan to control food prices sparked outrage. Critics have previously suggested Harris has benefited from ‘propaganda’ under left-wing banners.

Most notably, she was on the cover of Time Magazine despite not giving a single press interview in the first three weeks of her presidential campaign.

But the latest evidence suggests that such efforts are having no effect on ordinary voters, despite a large number of polls suggesting Harris is ahead of her opponent.

Lemon’s clip, which has been viewed 2.1 million times, begins with him asking a stranger on the street, “Who are you for?”

The man replies, “Trump is the winner.”

When Lemon questions him further, he continues, “I can’t really say right now. But I just feel like [Harris] is not good for President. She is good for Vice. But not the real lead in the country.’

The journalist then asks the young man if his opinion “has anything to do with the fact that she is a woman,” to which he answers resolutely “no.”

He added: ‘Because I feel like women, no, I’m not going to give you that.’

Another voter explained that she “has no experience.”

An incredulous Lemon replied, “She’s the vice president! She’s the senator.”

A female voter is then filmed telling the journalist, “I want Donald Trump. I just think we need someone who has a stronger background in the military and the world in general.”

She later added: “I know nobody likes him, but we had good times with Donald Trump. Our economy was good. Life was good.”

A fourth voter tells the reporter, “I want to support the Democratic Party, but Trump seems to be in it already.”

Lemon tells two voters that the “statistics show” the economy was stronger under Biden than it was under Trump. Both voters reject his claims.

The clip was posted by Trending Politics co-founder Colin Rugg and prompted a flood of comments criticizing Lemon.

One of them said: ‘It’s really astonishing how someone can fall into the trap of thinking they’re wrong about their financial situation.’

Another wrote: ‘I love seeing Don Lemon fall on his face. Sorry Don, people actually like our Don!’

A third comment read: ‘He tried to deny a person’s actual experience. Disgusting.’

A clip from an ABC street interview in Wisconsin has also gone viral on X, with 36,000 views.

A young black woman is filmed telling the interviewer, “I lean more toward Trump.”

When asked by voters, she explains that she believes Kamala is re-implementing many of the policies that Trump has already promised.

“A lot of what Kamala is saying is a lot of what Trump said, like no tip tax. It was something that Trump had repeated beforehand. She’s just caught up in a bunch of lies.”

The comment referred to a statement Harries made on Monday in which she supported abolishing the tip tax.

The policy, which has proven popular with service sector workers, was first proposed by Trump.

It prompted the Republican candidate to attack his opponent through his platform, Truth Social.

He wrote: ‘Kamala Harris, whose ‘honeymoon’ period is OVER and whose poll numbers are getting worse, just copied my ‘NO TAXES ON TIPS’ policy.

“The difference is she won’t do it, she only wants it for political purposes! This was TRUMP’s idea – She has no ideas, she can only steal from me. Remember Kamala proposed the BIGGEST TAX HIKE IN HISTORY – It won’t happen. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Left-wing media outlets have come under fire for unfairly portraying Harris in a positive light.

Former Republican congressman Zach Wamp said last week that the current vice president was on a “honeymoon.”

He told Sky News Australia: “The media is helping to repackage her a bit as if she’s not a progressive and she’s not a true liberal. Nobody’s really holding her to account.”

Harris has also been criticized for obsessively avoiding media interviews, having not given a single interview or formal press conference despite being three weeks into her presidential campaign.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote on X: “The way the American media has transformed Kamala Harris overnight from a national embarrassment to a transformative trailblazer — without even pretending to care what she thinks or believes — is a powerful testament to the power of the science of propaganda.”
