Liam Payne’s first posthumous song will be released on Friday – two weeks after his tragic death.

Before he died following a fatal fall from a hotel balcony on October 16, the One Direction star had been in the studio with Grammy winner Sam Pounds.

Sam has now announced that the song they worked on together, titled Do No Wrong, will be released next week.

The producer hopes their song will “eclipse the negative echoes” and provide a “healing power” to his loved ones and fans as they mourn the devastating loss of the 31-year-old pop star.

Sam shared the song’s artwork, an angel with a broken heart hanging over his head, on X/Twitter: ‘I pray this will be a blessing to the world like Liam always dreamed.

“I pray this song overshadows the negative echoes. I pray that supernatural positive healing power will embrace each of you… With love, let us all BE the blessing.”

Sam recently revealed to his Instagram followers that Liam wanted Chris Brown to appear on Do Know Wrong

Liam previously talked about his second solo album at a fan event, revealing that each song told a story from his life.

He said, “This time the scariest part is that each of these songs is a story from my life. And they are very close to me.

“I hope that with each song people get the feeling that I really felt what you are feeling right now when you listen to this.”

He added, “We rewrote a lot of these songs based on the idea of where we’re going with this and also how I feel as a person. “I used to come over and sing a song and then leave.” Absolutely not this time. We’re going to have fun with this.’
