Liam Payne’s last social media posts showed him spending time with his girlfriend – just minutes before he died aged 31 after ‘falling from a balcony’.
The pop star reportedly fell from the third floor of a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires TMZ.
Several witnesses told the publication that Mr Payne fell from his room at the CasaSur Palmero Hotel shortly after 5pm on Wednesday evening.
The star’s latest Snapchat posts showed him happily posing with his bikini-clad partner Kate Cassidy as they looked into a mirror.
Further reports from the final moments of the star’s life showed him enjoying lunch in his hotel room, where he revealed the pair ‘woke up at 1pm every day’ and decided to make Forest Gump as a Halloween costume to elect.

Another tragic selfie was captioned: “Beautiful day in Argentina” before the star shared a photo from his hotel and wrote: “Glad I had some time,” followed by a heart emoji.
He shared another photo with Kate with the caption: “Quality time.”
Emergency services are believed to be present outside the hotel, where a red tent has been set up on site. The investigation into the singer’s death is still ongoing.
The Night Changes singer was recently spotted attending his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert in the country earlier this month.
The 31-year-old shot to fame on XFactor in 2010 with former bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
He previously dated British pop sensation Cheryl Cole and the couple welcomed their son Bear Gray on March 22, 2017.
