Liam Payne teased emotional new music in a studio clip posted to his revamped Instagram on Tuesday.
The former One Direction singer, who is now a solo artist, shared a snippet of the ballad which he said was “born of many tears.”
The lyrics read, “Tears are falling down your face again ’cause I don’t know how to love you and I’m broken too,” as he gave his all to the song.
He looked casual in the black and white video, wearing a plain white T-shirt and dark jeans with his headphones on.
Liam, 30, wrote in the caption: “A song born of many (tear emoji), some mine, some not.”

Liam recently deleted all his Instagram photos and now only has two posts: one teasing the song and another announcing that a “new chapter” is coming.
Liam followed in Harry Styles’ footsteps when he debuted a shaved head in a new photo uploaded last week.
It comes after Liam’s ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer announced last Wednesday night that she was expecting her first child with Dancing On Ice’s Sonny Jay.
Danielle and Liam dated on and off from 2010 after meeting on The X Factor, but split in 2013 – three years before he started dating Cheryl, 40, who is the mother of his son, Bear, 6.
During an October 2012 interview, Liam admitted he was “devastated” after splitting from Danielle. Liam is now in a relationship with American model Kate Cassidy, with whom he has been dating since October 2022.
Jay, 30, took to Instagram to reveal the joyful news in a loving post.
In a joint post, Sonny and Danielle shared a sweet video announcing their news.

JLS star Marvin Humes led the stars in congratulating the couple after they announced the happy news.
He wrote: ‘Great news! Congratulations to you both,” while Dani Dyer added: “Oh this is amazing! Congratulations.’

Last year, Sonny revealed that he had found love again and ended his five-year relationship with former fiancée Lauren Faith.
He told The Sun: ‘I feel the best I’ve ever felt and that gives you an air of confidence when you go out and talk to people.
‘I’m in a relationship and I didn’t expect to be in it in the best possible way.
‘We’ve been seeing each other since January and the nice thing is that we’ve kept it so quiet.’
Sonny confirmed his split in June 2022, writing on Instagram on Thursday morning: ‘After five years of Lauren and I being together, we have decided that we are sadly parting ways.
“We have so much love and respect for each other and we will continue to support each other in everything we do.
“For now, we both need to focus on ourselves and our careers and we are ready and excited to start a new chapter separately.
‘Lauren is the most talented person I know and deserves every success. Life really does work in mysterious ways and what is meant to be will be.”
While Sonny lives in the UK, music producer Lauren spends time in LA for her work commitments.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Sonny and Lauren have called off the wedding.
‘It’s been a busy time for both of them since Sonny won Dancing on Ice and Lauren’s music production took off.
‘They both want a fresh start and have wiped each other off their social media pages.’
In August 2020, Sonny announced his engagement to his long-term girlfriend Lauren.
The DJ revealed on Instagram that he popped the question during a romantic boat trip, saying he “couldn’t be happier to spend the rest of his life” with her.

Reflecting on their romance in April 2019, Sonny wrote, “I can’t believe it was two years ago that I came to your house with a bouquet of flowers and asked if you wanted to be mine.
‘The last two years have gone so quickly and yet we have achieved so much together. Thank you for being the best support I could ever ask for! Happy birthday – I love you.”
