“I feel great, I feel really really good and the support from the fans is really really good, so I’m super happy,” he said.
The Strip That Down singer also took the opportunity to reveal that he is in the process of recording a new album, adding: “I definitely want to tour this time, which is unusual because I wasn’t sure for a long time whether I would go on tour.
“I was kind of over it, but I’m really excited to get back on the road and see all the fans and get around a little bit. It’s going to be fun.’
Liam’s confession comes after it was reported that he had split from girlfriend Kate.
The couple lived together at his home in London, but Kate has now moved and flown back to her home in the United States.
There is said to be no bad blood between the couple, with the couple ‘mutually’ deciding to end things.
A source told The sun: ‘There wasn’t a big argument or anything – it just ran its course and they both decided to go their separate ways.
“Liam knows it’s the right decision, he’s throwing himself into his music and he’s packed with work for the rest of the year.”

The insider added, “Honestly, juggling his career and keeping his relationship alive through the summer and into the fall was always going to be a pain — they both realized that.”
The pair were last photographed together in April, when they enjoyed a night out at the PrettyLittleThing showroom launch party.
They went public with their romance in October and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the British Fashion Awards shortly before Christmas.
In June 2021, Liam revealed that he was suffering from ‘serious’ suicidal thoughts while speaking to Steven Bartlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast.
Liam admitted that during his time with One Direction he struggled with addiction and mental health issues that he had kept secret until then.
The group, made up of Liam, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik, formed on The X Factor in 2010, and they became the biggest boy band in the world before their 2015 split.
Still, Liam struggled to stay sober on tour and confessed, “There were a few pictures of me on a boat and I was all blown up and I call it my pill-and-booze face.
My face was 10 times bigger than it is now. The problem was that the best way to secure us was to lock us in our rooms, and what’s in the room? A minibar.
So I had a party for one that seemed to go on for years. It was wild, but the only way to get frustration out.’
He also struggled with his mental health, and when asked about “moments of suicidal thoughts,” Liam confessed, “Yeah. There are definitely things I’ve never talked about that have to do with it. It was really bad. ‘

Finding fame: One Direction – Liam, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles – formed on The X Factor in 2010, and they became the biggest boy band in the world
Liam – who was just 16 when he joined One Direction – also shared how finding fame at a young age meant he couldn’t fend for himself, having all the basic tasks done for him.
He explained: ‘I was a director of a half-billion pound industry when I was 22. But if I’m trying to pay car insurance, I’m useless. Pick up my mail? I am the worst person in the world. You have been deceived in your growth.’
The hitmaker added, “I still feel like a kid in so many ways. There is no connection between money and happiness. It’s a myth. Money is the ability to relax on certain things.”
Liam further revealed that during the lockdown he fell back into bad habits and became dependent on alcohol, which caused him to gain weight.
He explained, “I was worried until the last few months. I think a lot of people had the same thing, alcohol. It kept getting earlier and earlier and easier and easier to go to.
‘The main thing I found with the alcohol are boundaries. If you’re on Zoom, you can probably get away with being a little tipsy when you’re not supposed to.”
He went into detail about the impact it had on his waistline, continuing, “I gained so much weight, I ate poorly and described it as a period of bulking up – “I’m doing it for a movie role! It’s all good!” That’s the best excuse when someone asks if you’ve gained weight. Suppose it is for a role, which comes out in 2022.
“I put a lot of weight on it. What hit me, I did one appearance on TV with the BAFTAs and I was disappointed in myself. I didn’t look the way I wanted to look.
‘You yourself know how you feel about it. Obviously they say the camera adds ten pounds and it sure did. I realized that I let myself go into this.’

Liam’s battle with alcohol addiction has been going on for a long time and in 2019, the singer spoke candidly and revealed that Russel Brand helped him get sober.
Speaking of his struggles and Russell’s support, the 1D star said, “I had a thing for booze, and it was a guy named Chip Somers who got me sober. I was sober for about a year and visited Russell Brand. We went to meetings together.’
The funny man, 44, was a patron of the Focus 12 treatment center founded by Chip, 64, but the center closed due to financial problems.
Discussing his mental health, he said, “When Strip That Down came out, I was almost as afraid of success as I was of failure, which isn’t a comfortable place in life because you’re not really sure what you’re doing. .
“For anyone who has a mental health problem, the best thing you can do is talk to someone. We’re all as crazy as the next person.’
“I was at a point where I was too young to stop drinking and that turned my social life upside down. It was very lonely…
“A lot of things in my life went up, but a lot of things went down at the same time. It was about hitting that reset button and realizing you could do without it.”
Russell is famously sober after battling drink and drug addiction. At age 14, he suffered from bulimia before leaving home at age 16 and taking illicit drugs, including cannabis, LSD, and ecstasy.
