Liam Payne is hand-in-hand with new girlfriend Kate Cassidy

Liam Payne gave the latest indication that his new romance is more than a passing fling when he ventured into London on Tuesday night.

The One Direction star was holding hands with latest girlfriend Kate Cassidy just weeks after making his first public appearance with the British-American influencer.

On that occasion, the pair were dressed as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee at a Halloween party at Inca, the central London venue, but their second performance was a more subdued affair.

Swapping Tommy’s white cardigan and leather trousers for a smart black turtleneck and matching dress trousers, Liam, 29, looked suitably smart as he left the members-only club Annabels.

He added to the look with a fitted black tuxedo, while polished boots completed a particularly formal look as the pair made their way to Marylebone bar-restaurant Chiltern Firehouse – where they stayed until 1:45am.

Meanwhile, Kate, 23, opted for a figure-hugging PVC combo that drew attention to her slim physique as she enjoyed her latest night out with the star.

The blonde unbuttoned her blouse and partially exposed her cleavage under a black lace bra as she greeted onlookers outside the venue.

It is understood that Kate is an American citizen of British descent, through her father, and is close friends with model Chantel Jeffries.

Based in New Jersey on America’s east coast, she was educated at the 252-year-old College of Charleston in North Carolina, the 13th oldest educational institution in the United States.

That’s what an insider told me The sun: ‘They are crazy about each other. Kate is a wild girl, so Liam is definitely up for a fun ride. She’s always in nightclubs and seems to love London.’

Prior to their first appearance in London, Liam was believed to be single after Texan model Maya Henry broke off their engagement in April.

The singer originally proposed with a £3 million ring in August 2020 after dating the brunette for just over a year, who he first met at a One Direction meet-and-greet when she was 15 years old.

But the engagement was called off after the singer was pictured with Florida-based influencer Aliana Mawla, who bears a passing resemblance to the model.

While Maya is often pictured alone in the English capital, Liam was only seen with ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer in June.

The singer was pictured leaving the Nobu Hotel in Shoreditch with former X Factor dancer Danielle over the summer – nine years after their split.
