- Liam Knight has sold his luxury apartment in Vaucluse
- Reports claim he sold at a loss of $250,000
- Knight, 29, was romantically involved with Danika Mason, 33
A Bulldogs star and the lover of Channel 9 presenter Danika Mason is said to have lost $250,000 on the sale of his Vaucluse home.
According to realestate.com.au, Liam Knight, 29, was spotted leaving the property on Old South Head Road over the weekend, with records showing the home was sold in May.
The Canterbury star bought the home just 16 months ago for $1.625 million, but the three-bedroom house was still on the market last August for a rent of $1,100 a week.
The same report suggests Knight recently called the property home.
The property, which has one bathroom and two parking spaces, was put up for sale on March 22 and spent 57 days on the market before selling.
The property was offered for sale with a guide price of $1.4 million. According to realestate.com.au, Knight lost about $250,000 on the sale.
Earlier this year, the Bulldogs prop was spotted socialising with Mason, 33, at The Butler restaurant in Sydney’s exclusive Potts Point in February.
An onlooker told Daily Mail Australia at the time that Danika seemed smitten with the footballer and practically sat on his lap as he stared wistfully into his eyes.

They started the evening sitting across from each other, before Liam moved to Danika’s side of the table and they snuggled up together in full view of the onlookers.
‘Her attitude was that of a relaxed woman enjoying an affair in preparation with a younger one; his was that of a deer in headlights,” the witness said.
The current status of their relationship remains unclear, with the couple unfollowing and then following each other on Instagram.
Mason has left his ex-fiancée Todd Liubinskas and the couple were set to tie the knot on October 27 at Greystone Estate last year. However, three weeks before the big day, the wedding was called off.
The exact reason for the couple’s split is unclear and is the subject of much speculation among football and media insiders.
