Liam Gallagher reveals who made the first move to end his 15-year feud with brother Noel

Liam Gallagher announced on Wednesday who took the first step in ending his 15-year feud with his brother Noel Gallagher.
The brothers had not spoken since their band Oasis split in 2009. Noel said: ‘I just couldn’t work with Liam another day.’
But in August, Liam and Noel announced that Oasis would reunite for a series of stadium performances in 2025.
And on X, formerly Twitter, Liam opened up about how the reunion conversation initially came about.
He tweeted in response to a fan: ‘I can“I told him but I won’t tell anyone because I don’t want people to think I’m a soft guy and that I’m keeping it between you and me. Love x (sic).”

Liam never misses an opportunity and couldn’t resist taking a dig at Oasis’ old rivals Blur during his recent tweets.
He wrote: ‘Blur, we were on our way out until we came along and made them relevant by bullying them. If it wasn’t for us, they would have been taken out.’
This comes after Oasis quashed rumours they are planning to return to Knebworth in 2026 after announcing extra dates for their long-awaited reunion tour.
The performances at the iconic North Hertfordshire venue would come 30 years after the rock band played two sold-out concerts in 1996.
However, Liam and Noel have denied any rumours of a Knebworth show appearing on X, formerly Twitter, to set the record straight.
They wrote: ‘Contrary to what some British tabloids reported today, Oasis will no longer be playing at Knebworth Park in the future.
‘There are no plans for further concerts in the UK, other than the currently announced UK stadium tour.’
During the session on the social media site, Liam also had a bit of fun with his followers and appeared to ignore the Oasis ticket scandal.

The figure is far lower than the £355 some fans paid for Oasis tickets, which were originally on sale for £148 before dynamic pricing was introduced.
After fans expressed outrage over ticket sales problems, Oasis announced two extra shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next summer.
They are made available to anyone who was unable to obtain tickets during the original sale.
Disappointed fans were given the chance to enter a draw for a chance to win tickets to the two shows.
The show will take place in September 2025 and fans will find out on Friday whether they have been given the chance to attend the shows.
Next year will be a real family celebration, as Liam’s third child Gene is expected to be among Oasis’ ten supporting acts.
Gene, 23, is the lead singer of the rock band Villanelle and, like his half-brother Lennon, bears the striking resemblance to his father.
