Liam Gallagher called out his brother Noel on Wednesday after he revealed there would be “no point” in reuniting the famous duo.
Liam turned to his younger brother after news that Noel was preventing him from using classic Oasis tracks for his upcoming Knebworth 22 documentary.
The documentary film is set to show Liam’s summer performance at the iconic event 26 years after he first performed there with his brother in Oasis.
Let’s have you! Liam Gallagher called out his brother Noel on social media on Wednesday afternoon, just days after the latter said it would make “no sense” for the duo to return to Oasis.
Following the news of Noel’s intervention, Liam wrote on Twitter:
“You can prevent us from using the songs, but you can’t erase our memories. Shame on Noel Gallagher.” Liam also called his sibling an “angry squirt.”
This is just two days after the High Flying Birds singer said there would be “no point” reuniting with Liam on the Pub Talk Podcast featuring former footballers Alan Brazil and Ray Parlor.

He continued: ‘Oasis sells as many records now as when we were together. I’m happy with it.
“If we got back together, it would be a circus and there’s no point. Just leave it as it is.’
Noel added that it would take “a series of extraordinary circumstances” to get back together.

Oasis broke up unceremoniously in 2009, minutes before they were due to take the stage at a performance in Paris.
The feuding brothers came to blows backstage after Liam smashed Noel’s guitar, as witnessed by Scottish singer Amy Macdonald, who also performed at the French festival.
In a statement, Noel said: “It is with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I have retired from Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they want, but I just couldn’t spend another day working with Liam.”
