At CES 2023, LG’s first-ever stick vacuum with wet and steam mopping functionality will debut, which is also equipped with an ‘All-in-One Tower’ docking station.
It’s no surprise that it’s the winner of the Innovation Award at the Las Vegas event, as it offers a solution to a problem, all in one (very) neat device. From the stick vacuum cleaner that can steam to the docking station that can store, charge and automatically empty the vacuum cleaner, the CordZero A9 Kompressor just screams innovation and we love it.

LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop: the details
The LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop is equipped with a detachable Steam Power Mop nozzle to provide the convenient sounding wet and steam mopping functionality. This promises to achieve a convenient, effective mopping performance that cleans surfaces without using detergent. It’s no secret that steam cleaning also kills over 99% of bacteria, which heats up so quickly yet is so effective to clean with. The Steam Power Mop nozzle also comes with dual sensors to prevent overheating of the attachment’s steam generator, as well as an advanced, automatic water supply system that keeps the mop pads wet while mopping.
If you are concerned about safety, please know that when the nozzle is lifted off the floor or held still for a period of about 20 seconds, the steam supply is turned off and the rotation of the mop is stopped after about a minute of inactivity. should provide some degree of reassurance.
But it’s not all about mopping, as the cordless vacuum cleaner also includes LG’s Axial Turbo Cyclone technology, to help remove dust and dirt from floors and other household surfaces by generating powerful suction. Of course, it’s best to use the LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop on hard floor surfaces such as sealed wood or tile, rather than wool carpets, so before you reach for your wallet; suitability and usefulness is a consideration.
The All-in-One Tower that comes with the vacuum cleaner is LG’s space-saving and fast charging docking station. It features a replaceable dust bag, an automated bin emptying system and an intuitive display that provides real-time status updates. The docking station also offers three different alert/notification tunes to choose from and storage for any CordZero vacuum accessories you want to keep close at hand.
We look forward to (hopefully) getting some hands-on experience with the LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop when it becomes more readily available from resellers – hopefully it will become a challenger to our list of the best cordless vacuum cleaners. In the meantime, LG will showcase its latest home appliances at its booth (#15501, Las Vegas Convention Center) at CES January 5-8.
