Mercedes driver Lewis will face Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferarri’s Charles Leclerc in the race, which starts tonight at 6pm; Sunday 13 Nov.

The seven-time world champion held out his yellow and green medal for the crowd as he posed for snaps.

Lewis was in high spirits as he blasted through the air with joy and later held up his prize.

The sports star was congratulated by chamber chairman Arthur Lira who shook hands with the stars.

Last month, Lewis revealed that he is launching a film and TV production company called Dawn Apollo Films, as he spoke about his retirement plans in an interview with Deadline.

Two Apple TV+ projects are already in the works for the company, and Hamilton said he’s concerned about “meaningful conversations and impactful stories.”

One is a documentary about Hamilton’s groundbreaking journey and exciting career.

The other, a currently undisclosed project, is being helmed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joe Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, 58.

According to the publication, it will “follow a driver coming out of retirement to compete with a rookie against the titans of his sport.”
