And he may be venturing into film too, as he recently spoke about an upcoming F1-inspired Hollywood film, talking about how he could make a small ‘cameo’ in the epic.
He revealed that the forthcoming F1-inspired film starring Brad Pitt will show the sport’s “diverse” future – but it will appear only briefly if at all.

Joseph Kosinski directs the film, which is being produced by the seven-time world champion – and lead actor Brad will film some of the action at the British Grand Prix in July, which will also star Damson Idris and Kerry Condon.
Mercedes star Lewis revealed this in an interview with Sky Sports that he played a key role in the film’s casting, and that it would show what Formula One “should” look like in the future, stating that the film has a “great cast”.
Since becoming the sport’s first black driver in 2007, Lewis has been at the forefront of trying to make Formula 1 more diverse – and his work guiding the creative team with the film will show that on the big screen.
He said, “I enjoy the background role more, to make sure I really talk to Joe about who we’re hiring, to make sure it’s diverse, to make sure the sport looks the way it needs to look in the future, in terms of being more accessible.”
