Lewis Capaldi leaves fans in stitches after an X-rated TikTok duet with Ed Sheeran

Lewis Capaldi has left fans howling after an X-rated duet with Ed Sheeran which saw him crudely describe missing an ex-lover’s body.

The Scottish singer, 26, took to TikTok on Thursday to add his own interesting lyrics to Ed’s backing track.

The Someone You Loved hitmaker unleashed a foul-mouthed verse which left little to the imagination.

The clip shows Ed’s original video of him strumming his guitar to a melody, with Lewis now visible on the other side of the screen with a pair of earphones in.

He has one earphone in as he looks into the camera and says: ‘Okay right, Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran here we go, let’s do this.’

He then screams into the microphone: ‘Back when you were mine I used to suck up on your t**s but now baby you’re gone you know I miss you.’

Lewis seems almost unable to contain his own laughter as he continues: ‘Every now and then I think about your p***y lips, crying all night long into my tissues.

‘I do dumb s**t when I’m mad. Sorry that I killed your dad – but can you still call me back.’

Capaldi shared the video on social media last night (THUR) with the caption: ‘Duet with Ed Sheeran #newmusic.’

The video has since gained over 1.8 million views with more than 231,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans including Premier League side Brentford F.C. who joined in on the laughs.

Brentford said: ‘Capaldi goat.’

Another penned: ‘Can we all confirm Lewis is the reason we have TikTok’

A third wrote: ‘Genuine question – does this guy understand he’s famous now?! The fact he hasn’t changed a single bit is gold’

Another said: ‘I can’t wait for Ed’s response’

Lewis’ second album Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent, is set to be released on 19 May this year.

This will follow his debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent which was released back in 2019.

The album peaked at number one in the UK and Ireland, and was certified gold a week after its release, going on to become the best-selling album in the UK in 2019 and 2020.

Lewis recently revealed he’s been struck down with bronchitis on Monday.

The singer has been left ‘absolutely devastated’ after he was forced to postpone two shows, in Zurich and Milan, due to his health.

He was told by a voice specialist he has bronchitis – an inflammation of the airways in the lungs usually caused by an infection – and would need vocal rest ‘for at least three days’.

A statement posted on his Twitter account read: ‘I’m absolutely devastated to be typing this.

‘As lots of you know for the past few nights of the tour I’ve been really struggling with my voice, last night in Stockholm I tried my best to sing through the show even with it feeling really uncomfortable because I was desperate not to let any of you down.

‘I’ve just been to see a voice specialist in Sweden who’s told me I’ve got bronchitis and that I should be on vocal rest for at least three days to give me any chance of not damaging my voice and being able to continue touring.’

But Lewis has some positive news for fans who were due to attend his Zurich and Milan world tour gigs – which were due to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively – revealing he has already rescheduled them.

The star’s Zurich show will now be on June 28th, and his Milan gig will be on May 31st, with all original tickets still valid.

But the ‘Before You Go’ hitmaker signed off by reassuring fans he will rest as much as he can to ensure he is OK for his show in Barcelona on Friday.

He added: ‘Hate letting you all down and this is the last thing I want to be writing. Going to be doing everything I can with rest and medication to be ready for Barcelona onwards.’
