Lewis Capaldi hysterically revealed that he sends fart noises to his girlfriend Ellie MacDowall while providing a rare insight into his brand new relationship.
Along with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden Heart breakfast on Tuesday the singer, 26, surprised the presenters with the confession.
After confirming he now has a girlfriend, Jamie asked Lewis if it was due to the pep talk he gave him the last time he was on the radio show.
“You guys were instrumental, she’s obviously an avid listener of the show, and we’ve been together ever since,” Lewis replied.
The presenter then asked if the musician could play the last spoken note he sent, to which Amanda exclaimed, “Oh, it’s going to be beautiful!” Because he’s sweet.’

Not quite realizing what they had indulged in, Lewis played a really loud “weird sounding fart” sound, sending Amanda into hysterics.
“It’s also a weird sounding fart. At first there’s a pop and it sounds like someone is opening a bottle of champagne three rooms away,” he explained.
He continued, “She [Ellie] just said “I didn’t understand what it was at first… did you send such s*** to your exes?”
Jamie said, “I feel like we’ve put all this work into your love life and now you’re just…”
‘You must love me for me. Warts and all,’ Lewis replied.
Amanda added, “Oh I’m so happy for you because you deserve love! Everyone is doing it, but you specifically,” before asking if he was happy.
Lewis joked, “Well that’s another question, that’s a loaded one Amanda. I think it takes few things to be happy in this world, you need love, you need health.
“You need self-love, love within yourself. And also a great appendage. And one of those things I don’t own,” he joked.

The hitmaker was first spotted with his new girlfriend, Scottish actress Ellie, 23, in November when the pair were pictured on a night out and then a romantic dinner in the wee hours of the morning.
They were then reportedly seen at BRIT’s after party in February, where they struggled to keep their hands off each other.
This year, Ellie will star in the new biopic Archie, focusing on the actor Cary Grant, with the four-part drama spanning his humble beginnings in the UK to his phenomenal rise to success in America.
Ellie plays his daughter Jennifer Grant in the series, which will air on ITV’s new streaming service, ITVX.
