Von Miller’s relentless pursuit of former teammate Odell Beckham Jr. has seized his social media pages. On the latest episode of the Richard Sherman Podcast, Miller said that Beckham is just as much looking for real estate in western New York.

Beckham has recently met a number of teams – including the Saints, Giants and Buccaneers – and has not yet indicated whether he would sign anywhere.

In New Orleans, the Baton Rouge, LA native Beckham has the chance to play for his home team after attending LSU. With the Giants, he has a chance to reunite with the team that drafted him. The Buccaneers allowed him to team up with the greatest quarterback the game has ever played.

But when Sherman — the former cornerback, future Hall of Famer and Super Bowl XLVIII winner — asked Miller for an update, Miller said the search might as well be over.

“Let’s face it, man. He’s coming to the Bills… it’s all said and done,” Miller said on the show. “We busted some receivers, man. We’ve got Josh Allen, we’ve got Diggs. For example, think of him and Diggs in the same team man.”

Sherman jokingly replied, “I don’t want to think about them… Well, I can think about them now, I don’t have to cover them.”

Miller went on to list reasons why Beckham might be tempted to join the Super Bowl favorites for the season.

“Our offensive line is one of the best offensive lines in the league. Defense does what we do man… You know, that’s what I like to think and I’m optimistic. When it’s said and done, man, we know where Odell will be.”

Miller has kept in touch with Beckham throughout this process, with the linebacker saying he speaks with OBJ every week. When this was posted on Twitter, Beckham joked that he was publicly disclosing his dealings, while also appearing intrigued by Buffalo’s reputation as a prime food town.

‘Oh yay Von!?!? Lol disclosing personal information…but what’s good tho? What y’all have to eat there,” OBJ said in response to a tweet

Miller also brought out a few more names he’d like to see on game days at Orchard Park, highlighting trade rumours.

“There’s been some trade talk about… you know… [Giants running back] Saquon (Barkley).

Unfortunately for Miller, his reasons for joining Buffalo apply to the three teams OBJ has visited. All three have serious injuries to their wide receiver corps and all three could see Beckham deadly receiver partnerships.

In New Orleans, the chance to mate with Michael Thomas – when he returns from injury – could make for a deadly duo. The same can be said for Tampa with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. In New York he was able to mentor young recipients like Kadarius Tony.

Beckham has not indicated where he is likely to sign, but he knows he is a wanted man and he will be ready to take the field soon.
