President Joe Biden forgot to fact-check the first line of his speech at a Maryland factory on Friday.
“Let me start with two words: made in America,” Biden said at an event at the Volvo Group Powertrain facility in Hagerstown.
He just forgot to count the number of words in the mantra.
‘Made in America. It’s not hyperbole. I’m not kidding about that, as you know,” Biden continued.
It was the latest unfortunate blunder for the president, who had to apologize for an unfortunate stumbling block last week.
The president, 79, also cheered laborers and American workers, as well as investments in high-tech manufacturing, as well as a new monthly report showing the US economy created 263,000 new jobs last month.
“Let me start with two words: made in America,” President Joe Biden said, opening his Maryland address unfavorably.
Then Biden brought a CNN report based on an archive request, which found a series of letters sending Republican lawmakers to Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg seeks funding for projects in their district – despite destroying the infrastructure legislation that created the pot of money.

Others Biden checked on the name were Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul and Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr, who called the bill a “great socialist government agenda.”
“Three different projects he wants, citing the importance of safety and growth in his neighborhood.”
‘Rand Paul,’ he continued – ‘I can go down the list. Look it up. Socialism. I didn’t know there were so many socialist Republicans,” he said derisively.
“People, look, you can’t make this up,” he said.
The CNN message, which came Friday morning, came after a record request, although it also had the cooperation of the administration.
“It’s hard not to chuckle,” Buttigieg told the station.
Emmer has released a statement explaining his support for the highway program in his district of Minnesota. “We will always heed the call to advocate for real infrastructure improvements in the Sixth District as part of smart spending practices,” he said.
Paul had pitched 10 projects despite rejecting the infrastructure bill, which received some Republican support, for wasteful spending.
‘Resisting a spending law does not always mean resisting the purpose of that spending; opposition to a spending bill could mean opposition to spending that widens the deficit and is not offset by spending cuts elsewhere,” his spokesperson told the network.
