The late actor – who tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles on Monday at age 67 – was born on April 29, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a city representative has revealed that he is the legendary star. will remember as ‘one of Chattanooga’s beloved sons.’

According to TMZ, it’s up to the family to decide whether they want a road to Leslie or some other form of tribute.

This week, the outlet revealed that the screen star was reportedly on his way to film ‘Call Me Kat’ when he died behind the wheel of his car.

The comic legend is said to be attending a cardiologist appointment after suffering from shortness of breath for three weeks until his death.

A cause of death has not yet been determined by the coroner, but investigators were reported to suspect it was a heart attack.

The production of the sitcom ‘Call Me Kat’ – in which Leslie played the beloved role of Phil – has been halted after the death of the star.

His co-star Mayim Bialik was one of the many who paid tribute to the late star.

She wrote, “They broke the mold when they made Leslie Jordan. He was a dear mentor and a dear friend. I will miss him so much – it is unimaginable that he is gone. Rest well, dear friend.’

David Shaul, his agent, confirmed the death of his client and friend in a statement that read: “The world is certainly a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan.

Not only was he a mega-talent and a joy to work with, but he also provided the nation with an emotional refuge during one of its most trying times.

What he lacked in height he made up for in generosity and greatness as a son, brother, performer, comedian, partner and human being.

“Knowing that he left the world at the height of his professional and personal life is the only comfort you can have today.”
